Sculpture
Quilts (2019)
This project exists in two iterations. The first is a quilt, made out of found plastics and stitched together with hot glue. The second is a wire translation, mimicking the process of placing quilting, weaving, drawing in space, utilized in the initial quilt. Both quits measure 40” x 30”, approx.
Stamp Sculpture and Performance (2019)
A human-sized and usable stamp that doubles as a functional art object and a tool for performance and play.
The bottom of the stamp transfer paint with bubble wrap as an applicator, playing with concepts of distribution and printmaking processes.
Rock Sound Sculpture (2019)
This sculpture was included in an installation that, unfortunately, was not documented. The rock acts as both a sculptural form and also an amplifier. Clay was crafted carefully to create a concave physical form that maximizes and softens audio samples of falling rain, played from within the structure, gently allowing it to trickle outward. These samples were collected with an iPhone, covered with a plastic solo cup.
